Advice
on choosing a Driving Instructor:-
Parents like to choose the best for their young ones.
Many parents study primary and secondary schools in great depth, hoping to find the very best place for their child to learn.
They go to great lengths to ensure their child gets into the right school. They have been known to move house, change jobs,
even to emigrate to ensure their child gets the best education possible.
The fact is, not all schools are the same!
The same fact
applies to driving schools and driving instructors. Learning to drive is one of life's great skills, and comes with serious
consequences if pupils pass without the full range of skills and the right attitude to become a 'Safe Driver for Life'
Driving instructors are graded by the government.
The best driving instructors obtain a grade 5 or 6. These
grades are considered 'Good' (grade 5) and 'Very Good' (grade 6). There are 52% of Driving Instructors who
are graded lower than good, with 'Adequate' (grade 4) or substandard grades (grades 3, 2 and 1). Newly qualified driving
instructors are un-graded, and are waiting to be graded for the first time. Trainee Driving Instructors, or PDI’s as
they are now known, are not graded at all until they have gained some experience.
Grange Park School of Motoring
has been in business for 21 years, and is very proud of the fact that we have been awarded a Grade five on several occasions
by the Driving Standards Agency examiners. We are also very proud of the fact that even though the national average pass rate
for the practical test is about 45%, we actually achieved an excellent pass rate of 91% in 2011 and 87% in 2010. In fact,
three of our pupils even passed with CLEAN SHEETS!
Thanks to all our pupils, past and present, for entrusting us
with this very important responsibility and helping us to gain such fantastic results and maintain our high standards!
By choosing Grange Park School of Motoring, you can be assured that you will be learning to drive with one of the
most experienced Driving Instructors in the area, and that you will be getting far better value for money than you would
choosing cheaper (and possibly sub-standard) Driving Instruction elsewhere!
